Details
The ULQ2001, ULQ2003, and ULQ2004 are highly efficient and versatile high voltage, high current Darlington arrays. Each array contains seven open collector Darlington pairs with common emitters. These devices are capable of driving a wide range of loads including solenoids, relays, DC motors, LED displays, filament lamps, thermal print-heads, and high power buffers. With each channel rated at 500 mA and the ability to withstand peak currents of 600 mA, these arrays are suitable for various applications. Additionally, suppression diodes are included for inductive load driving, and the inputs are conveniently pinned opposite the outputs, simplifying the board layout. The ULQ2001A, ULQ2003A, and ULQ2004A are available in 16-pin plastic DIP packages with a copper lead-frame to reduce thermal resistance. For space-saving requirements, they are also available in small outline packages (SO16) as ULQ2003D1 and ULQ2004D1. Furthermore, the ULQ2003 is available as an Automotive Grade in an SO16 package. These devices are qualified according to the specification AEC-Q100 of the Automotive market, operating in the temperature range of -40°C to 125°C and undergoing statistical tests PAT, SYL, and SBL
