Details
UTC3843 is a current-mode PWM controller designed for use in offline flyback converters. It operates at a switching frequency of up to 500kHz and features a feedback voltage accuracy of ±1.5%. The device includes a number of protection features, such as overvoltage and overcurrent protection, as well as thermal shutdown.The UTC3843 has a wide input voltage range of 7V to 30V, making it suitable for a variety of applications. It can deliver a maximum output voltage of 36V and a maximum output current of 1.5A. The device also includes a soft-start function to prevent excessive inrush current during start-up.The UTC3843 features an internal oscillator that can be synchronized to an external clock signal if necessary. It also includes an adjustable current limit for controlling the peak current in the power switch, allowing for greater flexibility in design.
