The VIPER12ADIP-E is a versatile power management solution that offers a dedicated current mode PWM controller and a high voltage power MOSFET on the same silicon chip. This unique combination makes it suitable for a wide range of applications, including off-line power supplies for battery charger adapters, standby power supplies for TV or monitors, and auxiliary supplies for motor control. The VIPER12A's internal control circuit provides several benefits, such as a large input voltage range on the VDD pin that accommodates changes in auxiliary supply voltage, making it well-suited for battery charger adapter configurations. Additionally, it features automatic burst mode in low load conditions and overvoltage protection in HICCUP mode, ensuring reliable and efficient operation in a variety of scenarios
