Designed for Linux® application development, the low-cost AM62x Sitara™ MPU family of application processors offers scalable Arm® Cortex®-A53 performance and embedded features suitable for a broad range of industrial and automotive applications. The AM62x device boasts dual-display support, 3D graphics acceleration, and an extensive set of peripherals, making it well-suited for applications such as industrial HMI, EV charging stations, touchless building access, and driver monitoring systems. With industrial-grade packaging (ALW) and compliance with the AEC - Q100 automotive standard (AMC), the AM62x Sitara™ processors are equipped to meet the stringent functional safety requirements of industrial and automotive applications. The integrated Cortex-M4F cores and dedicated peripherals offer additional support for addressing these requirements. Featuring a 3-port Gigabit Ethernet switch with Time-Sensitive Networking (TSN) support, a PRU module for real-time I/O capability, and a wide range of peripherals including USB, MMC/SD, Camera interface, CAN-FD, and GPMC, the AM62x device provides extensive system-level connectivity. Additionally, support for secure boot and advanced power management makes the AM62x processors suitable for portable and power-sensitive applications, providing versatility and reliability for various use cases
