TrustFLEX secure element, the ATECC608B-TFLXTLS by Microchip, is a pre-configured device that caters to the most common authentication use cases in the embedded industry, effectively reducing development time for architects. With locked-in configurations and integrated ECDH and ECDSA security protocols, it ensures ultra-secure key agreement and authentication for IoT applications across various industries, including home automation, industrial networking, medical, and retail. The device's AES128 hardware accelerator and hardware-based cryptographic key storage provide robust cryptographic countermeasures, eliminating potential vulnerabilities associated with software weaknesses. Its compatibility with a wide range of microprocessors and microcontrollers, combined with low-power consumption and a tiny form factor, makes it a versatile option for applications requiring longer battery life and flexible form factors. Additionally, the ATECC608B-TFLXTLS is provisioned with default thumbprint certificates and keys, allowing customers to implement their own certificate chain. With code examples for cloud authentication on platforms like AWS IoT, AWS IoT Greengrass, and Microsoft Azure, as well as TLS network authentication using third-party stacks, the device offers a comprehensive and secure solution for a variety of IoT applications
