The CD4013BM is a dual flip-flop device that offers versatile functionality for data storage and transfer. Each flip-flop within the device features independent data, set, reset, and clock inputs, as well as Q and Q outputs. This flexibility allows for applications in shift registers, counters, and toggles. During the positive transition of the clock pulse, the logic level at the D input is transferred to the Q output. Setting or resetting can be done independently of the clock by applying a high-level signal to the set or reset line.
