The CD4013D is a dual D-type flip-flop integrated circuit (IC) that is commonly used in digital logic circuits. It is part of the CMOS 4000 series of ICs, which are known for their low power consumption and high noise immunity.The CD4013D contains two independent flip-flops, each capable of storing a single bit of information. Each flip-flop has a data input (D), a clock input (CLK), a set input (SET), and a reset input (RESET). The state of the flip-flop is determined by the data input and is updated on the rising edge of the clock signal. The set and reset inputs allow the flip-flop to be manually set or reset to a specific state.The CD4013D has a wide operating voltage range of 3V to 18V, making it suitable for a variety of applications. It is housed in a 14-pin dual in-line package (DIP) and has a maximum operating frequency of 15MHz.
