Details
The HCPL-7560 is an isolated module in a 8-DIP (Dual In-line Package) format, designed for high-speed digital logic interfacing and isolation applications. It is a part of the HCPL-x5xx series of optocouplers manufactured by Broadcom Limited. Key specifications of the HCPL-7560 include a minimum isolation voltage of 5000 Vrms for basic insulation and 4500 Vrms for reinforced insulation, making it suitable for use in applications requiring high levels of electrical isolation. The device also has a maximum propagation delay of 50 ns and a minimum supply voltage of 4.5 V, allowing for fast and efficient signal transmission. The HCPL-7560 features a dual-channel design, with each channel consisting of an optically coupled pair of an infrared LED and a photodetector. This configuration provides high noise immunity and eliminates problems associated with ground loops and electrical noise in the system.
