The LA72914V is a 5.8 GHz PLL frequency synthesizer IC designed for satellite communication systems. It is manufactured by Sanyo Semiconductor and features a phase-locked loop (PLL) circuit that allows for stable and precise frequency synthesis. The device operates at a frequency range of 5.5 GHz to 6.1 GHz and has a low phase noise of -111 dBc/Hz at a 1 MHz offset. It has a wide operating temperature range of -40°C to 85°C, making it suitable for use in various environmental conditions. The LA72914V also includes a built-in reference frequency divider, charge pump, and voltage-controlled oscillator (VCO), simplifying the design of frequency synthesizer systems. It has a power supply voltage range of 4.75 V to 5.25 V and consumes a low current of 45 mA, making it energy-efficient.In terms of packaging, the LA72914V comes in a small, 8-pin SSOP package, allowing for compact and space-efficient designs.
