Details
The MMA7331L is a three-axis low-g accelerometer sensor that is commonly used in various electronic devices such as smartphones, tablets, and gaming controllers. It is produced by Freescale Semiconductor, now known as NXP Semiconductors.The sensor operates on a supply voltage of 2.2V to 3.6V and features a low power consumption of just 400 microamps in full operation mode. It has a built-in voltage regulator and temperature sensor, allowing for accurate and stable readings in different environmental conditions.The MMA7331L provides an analog output voltage that is proportional to the acceleration sensed along each of the three axes (X, Y, and Z). The sensor has a measurement range of +/- 50g, making it suitable for a wide range of applications that require precise acceleration sensing.Additionally, the MMA7331L features a high pass filter to remove external noise and a self-test function to verify the sensor's functionality. It also includes a sleep mode to further reduce power consumption when not in use.
