The RTL8139A is a network interface controller chip developed by Realtek. It is a fast Ethernet controller that supports 10/100 Mbps data transfer rates for both half-duplex and full-duplex modes. The chip is commonly used in desktop computers, laptops, and other devices to provide network connectivity.The RTL8139A features a PCI interface for easy integration into a variety of computer systems. It also includes a built-in 16KB buffer memory to improve data transfer efficiency.
