The RTL8367R is a highly integrated Ethernet switch IC designed for residential gateway applications. It features eight 10/100/1000Mbps ports with advanced security and management capabilities. The switch supports a wide range of features, including VLAN, QoS, IGMP snooping, and port mirroring, making it suitable for managing traffic in a home network environment.The RTL8367R is equipped with an embedded 8051 microcontroller and supports a variety of industrial-standard interfaces such as SPI, I2C, UART, and MDIO. This allows for easy integration into different networking equipment designs. The switch also features a built-in look-up table for address learning and hardware-based NAT acceleration for improved performance.In terms of security, the RTL8367R supports port-based and 802.1x authentication, as well as MAC address filtering and broadcast storm control. These features help protect the network from unauthorized access and reduce the impact of network disturbances.
