TNY227PN is a low power, off-line switcher IC (integrated circuit) specifically designed for low power offline flyback-based power supplies. It is produced by Power Integrations, a leading provider of high-performance integrated circuits for energy-efficient power conversion.The TNY227PN IC incorporates a 700V power MOSFET, oscillator, high voltage switched current source, current limit, and thermal shutdown circuitry, all in a compact 7-pin PDIP package. This IC is designed to provide accurate output voltage regulation and high efficiency in applications such as home appliances, consumer electronics, LED lighting, and auxiliary power supplies.The TNY227PN features a low standby power consumption of less than 50mW at 230VAC input, making it ideal for standby and no-load conditions where minimizing power consumption is critical. The IC also offers built-in line undervoltage lockout (UVLO) and hysteretic thermal shutdown protection to ensure safe and reliable operation.
