Details
The TPCA8016-H is a multi-functional dual-channel 6A MOSFET gate driver designed for use in high-speed switching applications. It features a high current drive capability of up to 6A per channel, making it suitable for driving large power MOSFETs and IGBTs. The TPCA8016-H operates on a supply voltage ranging from 7V to 18V, making it compatible with a wide range of power systems. It also has a wide input voltage threshold range of -5V to 18V, allowing for flexible interfacing with different control signals.This gate driver is designed with built-in dead time control to prevent shoot-through currents in half-bridge configurations. It also features under-voltage lockout (UVLO) protection to ensure that the gate driver functions correctly even when the input voltage is below the specified threshold.The TPCA8016-H is housed in a small and compact SSOP-16 package, making it suitable for space-constrained applications. It has a wide operating temperature range of -40°C to 125°C, allowing for reliable operation in harsh environments.
