The UC3827 family of controller devices, including the UC2827DW-1, is designed to provide an integrated control solution for cascaded buck and push-pull converters. These converters, known as current fed or voltage fed push-pull converters, are ideal for multiple output and/or high voltage output applications. With features such as complete protection and PWM control functions, easy control of the floating switch, and support for an input voltage up to 72 VDC, the UC2827DW-1 offers precise control and efficient performance in a variety of applications. Additionally, the device can be set up in traditional voltage mode control using input voltage feedforward technique or in current mode control, allowing for precise control and preventing potential core saturation of the push-pull transformer. Other valuable features include bidirectional synchronization capability, user programmable overlap time, user programmable gap time, and a high bandwidth differential current sense amplifier, making the UC2827DW-1 a versatile and reliable choice for demanding converter applications
