Details
The SN74LVC8T245-EP offers versatile functionality with its ability to operate with different power-supply rails, making it suitable for various voltage nodes ranging from 1.8V to 5.5V. This noninverting bus transceiver ensures seamless bidirectional communication between data buses, thanks to its asynchronous design and flexible DIR and OE inputs. By tracking VCCA and VCCB separately, the device efficiently transmits data between the A and B ports while preventing excess power consumption. Additionally, the Ioff circuitry enables safe partial-power-down applications, safeguarding the device from current backflow during power-down scenarios. Moreover, the VCC isolation feature guarantees that all outputs remain in a high-impedance state when either VCC input is grounded. To further enhance reliability, it is recommended to connect the OE pin to VCC using a pullup resistor during power transitions
