Details
The HMC1021S is a magnetic field sensor manufactured by Analog Devices Inc. It is a high precision, three-axis magnetoresistive sensor integrated circuit designed for magnetic field sensing applications. The sensor features a digital interface for easy communication with microcontrollers or other digital systems.The HMC1021S has a wide dynamic range of ±10 Gauss, allowing it to detect a broad range of magnetic field strengths with high accuracy. It offers a resolution of 12 bits per axis, providing precise measurements of the magnetic field in three dimensions. The sensor operates on a supply voltage range of 2.7V to 3.6V and consumes very low power, making it suitable for battery-powered applications.The HMC1021S sensor has built-in self-test features for calibration and diagnostics, ensuring reliable performance over time. It also includes programmable settings for sensitivity and bandwidth adjustment to tailor the sensor's performance to specific applications.
