Details
The HMC1043 is a silicon monolithic integrated circuit designed for Wideband Frequency Modulation (FM) demodulation in remote sensor applications. It operates at a frequency range of 30 MHz to 2.5 GHz, making it suitable for various wireless communication systems and IoT devices. The chip features an integrated Low-Noise Amplifier (LNA) with a selectable gain from 10 dB to 18 dB, along with a fully integrated mixer and IF amplifier for demodulating FM signals.The HMC1043 also includes an automatic gain control (AGC) circuit to maintain a consistent output level, even in the presence of large input signal variations. This ensures reliable demodulation performance across different environmental conditions. The device is housed in a compact 4 mm x 4 mm QFN package, making it suitable for space-constrained applications.Key specifications of the HMC1043 include a frequency conversion gain of 7 dB, an input third-order intercept point (IIP3) of 2 dBm, and a noise figure of 4.5 dB. The chip operates from a single 3.3 V supply voltage and consumes less than 90 mA of current.
