Details
TPC8014 is a high-efficiency step-down synchronous DC-DC converter with an input voltage range of 4.5V to 53V and a programmable output voltage range of 0.6V to 5V. It is capable of delivering up to 2.5A of output current, making it suitable for a wide range of applications, from industrial to automotive.This converter features integrated power MOSFETs with low RDS(ON) and a high switching frequency of up to 2MHz, allowing for smaller external components and higher power density. It also includes programmable soft-start and adjustable current limit functions for enhanced system flexibility and protection.TPC8014 offers excellent transient response and low output voltage ripple, ensuring stable and reliable power delivery to the load. It also supports both voltage and current mode control for improved load regulation and transient response.Other features of TPC8014 include overvoltage, overcurrent, and thermal shutdown protections, as well as an internal compensation network for simplified design and reduced external components. The device is available in a thermally enhanced 16-pin QFN package, making it suitable for space-constrained applications.
