Details
The TPCA8108 is a power MOSFET gate driver IC designed for controlling high side or low side N-channel power MOSFETs in a variety of applications, including motor driving, power management, and LED lighting. It operates from a wide voltage range of 4.5V to 24V, making it suitable for a range of different power supply configurations.The TPCA8108 features two independent gate drivers, allowing for dual control of power MOSFETs. Each driver is capable of sourcing and sinking up to 2A of current, providing sufficient drive strength for high power applications. The high current capability of the TPCA8108 ensures fast switching speeds and efficient operation of the connected MOSFETs.The IC also includes protection features such as overcurrent protection, undervoltage lockout, and thermal shutdown, ensuring the safety and reliability of the system. Additionally, the TPCA8108 has a built-in bootstrap diode for high side drive applications, simplifying the design of the overall system.
