Details
The TPCA8123 is a high-efficiency, low on-resistance, N-channel power MOSFET gate driver IC designed for use in automotive applications. It is specifically tailored for driving power MOSFETs in brushless DC motor control and switching applications.The TPCA8123 features a wide input voltage range of 3.5V to 18V, making it suitable for use in a variety of different systems. It has a built-in charge pump to generate the high-side gate voltage, eliminating the need for an external bootstrap capacitor. This allows for simplified circuit design and reduced component count.This gate driver IC is capable of delivering high peak output current of up to 4A, ensuring fast switching speeds and efficient operation. It also features under-voltage lockout and over-current protection functions to ensure safe and reliable operation in all conditions.In addition, the TPCA8123 is housed in a compact SSOP-16 package, making it suitable for space-constrained applications. It also has wide operating temperature range of -40°C to 125°C, ensuring reliable performance in harsh automotive environments.
