Details
KSH42C is a Schottky Barrier Diode manufactured by Vishay Semiconductors. It is a high-performance rectifier diode that is commonly used in power supply circuits, battery chargers, and other electronic devices that require fast switching and low forward voltage drop. The KSH42C diode has a maximum forward current rating of 4A and a maximum reverse voltage rating of 20V, making it suitable for medium to high power applications. It has a very fast switching speed, typically less than 30ns, which allows for efficient energy conversion and minimal power losses. The diode is housed in a DO-214AC (SMA) package, which is a surface mount package that provides excellent thermal performance and mechanical strength. The package also allows for easy installation on printed circuit boards, making it ideal for automated assembly processes.
